Users set their own goals based on the evaluation period pre-set by the system administrator.
The goal setting link is displayed in card form at the top of the top screen (dashboard).
Click the "Goal setting" button to open the goal setting screen. The same operation can also be performed from the "Goal and evaluation management" menu.
When you select the menu, the goal periods for the current year will be listed, so click the "Set goal" button displayed under "Action" for the relevant period to open the goal setting screen.
If multiple goal evaluation periods are set, multiple card-type goal setting links will be displayed on the dashboard of the person being evaluated.
In actual operation, the evaluation period will be updated to an end status and hidden from the dashboard screen.
Click the "Goal and Evaluation Management" link in the menu on the left side of the screen to move to the next screen. For example, if you select 2021 as shown below, the goal evaluation period for that year will be displayed.
In addition, the fiscal year division days are set by the administrator.
When you click the "Goal Setting" icon, the following screen will be displayed.
There are six standard items that can be set (described below). You can also set goals using data forms that you can create yourself.
You can link multiple data forms to the relevant goal evaluation period (in this example, "2020 performance evaluation and ability evaluation").
In the example below, a goal setting form is used that uses four standard management items (goal comments, performance goals, training measures, and skills (ability goals)) and two unique data forms (current position/grade, training implementation goals/records).

Clicking on each tab will display the corresponding input field.
You can also register overall goals for the department for the goal evaluation period. You can view the department goals registered by the manager from the "View Department Goals" icon to the right of the goal evaluation period name.
Click the "Update" button to temporarily save the contents of the goal.
To go to each tab and check the goal details you entered in a list, click the "Check in list" button to open a sub-screen.
Once you have finished setting all goals, click the "Confirm" button to complete the goal setting.
To view the department goals registered by the manager, click the "View department goals" icon to the right of the goal evaluation period name.
The goal management function has the following six standard evaluation item input forms. Each of the six evaluation item forms is displayed as an individual tab on the goal setting screen.
The names below are the default names, but they can be renamed to suit the user's own evaluation management. (For example, "Goal Comment" -> "Goal Evaluation Summary", etc.)
This field is for entering text about your goals for the relevant period. It is suitable for writing down overall business goals.
After entering your goals, click the "Update" button to update your goal settings.
You can set performance goals for the evaluation period. Performance goals can be set according to the items set by the administrator.
You can also set multiple performance goals with different importance by clicking the "+" button.
You can give each performance goal an identifying name.
Among the items that can be entered, "weight" expresses the importance (weighting) of each performance goal as a percentage. Please set this weight "so that the total is always 100".
The set "weight" can be changed by the manager at the time of evaluation.
Depending on the administrator's settings, the order of the displayed performance goals may change depending on the weight of the "weight".
Also, if the item "Plan" is displayed, the numerical target function is also enabled.
Please enter a more specific numerical target for the performance goal you set.
After entering the target, click the "Update" button to update the goal setting.
You can select a task to set as a goal from the registered tasks. Tasks are selected from the Task Search sub-screen.
If the system administrator has enabled the entry of comments for each task when creating the goal period, a comment field for each task will also be displayed.
This field is suitable for setting detailed goals such as action plans. You can enter the goal in text and associate one skill with each ToDo.
There are three development measures: attending training sessions, obtaining qualifications, and taking exams. This tab is a field for setting goals for each.
Select from the training registered in the master and set your goals.
Click the "Development Measures" tab to display a screen for selecting development measures.
Click the "Add" link and select the desired development measure.
After making your selection, press the "Update" button to update your goal settings.
Depending on the administrator's settings, the name may have been changed from "Skills".
Set goals by specifying the answer rank for the skill item. Skill selection is made from the skill search sub-screen.
Click the "Skills" tab to display the skill selection screen.
Click the "Add" button to display the skill selection sub-screen.
Check the added skill goals and click the "Update" button to update the goal settings.
After you have set all the goals you need to set, click the "Confirm" button to confirm the goal settings and start the goal flow.
If the goal requires approval by a manager, the approver selection screen will open.
Select the goal approver and click "Update".
The approver selection list is displayed according to the following rules:
Sorted by the manager of the appraiser's department and its higher departments, and by the manager who has concurrent department authority for those departments, in the following order:
Lowest management level (ascending)
Among 1., managers who belong to the department to which the person being evaluated belongs and to higher-level departments are surveyed, in descending order of the department to which the person being evaluated belongs.
Managers with authority over the remaining departments not included in 1. and 2.
"Administrator" will be displayed at the end of the approver selection list only if the display settings are set to "Administrator".
Once the goal setting is finalized, you will proceed to the next step based on the workflow set for the goal evaluation period.
Required actions, such as registering comments, are pre-set for each progress status in the flow. If multiple actions are set, you can switch between each action by switching tabs.
Performing these actions will allow you to move forward in the goal flow.
You can move the flow forward by performing the set action.
The actions that users can perform are as follows. Note that the actions to be taken for each phase will vary depending on the settings.
To perform an action, click the corresponding tab to display the input fields. *Tab names may have been changed by admin settings.
Prediction
When you set a "Plan" in the performance goal, you can register "Actuals" against the plan. Click the "Planned/Actual" tab on the screen and register the results on the screen that appears.
Summary
You should enter a comment summarizing this phase.
Task
When you set a goal task, you need to register a comment for that goal task. Click the "Task" tab on the screen and register an evaluation comment on the screen that appears.
Skill Updates
When you set a goal task or skill, you will need to update your skills. Click the "Skill Update" tab on the screen, and on the screen that appears, click the "Show goal-related skills" button to display the skill update screen.
You can temporarily save your current skill answers by clicking the "Update Skills" button at the bottom of the screen.
When you click "Show goal-related skills," you can narrow the display if there are too many tasks to display.
If not selected, all skills will be displayed.
Behavioral evaluation
You need to register a behavioral evaluation. Click the "Behavioral evaluation" tab on the screen and register your evaluation on the screen that appears.
You can temporarily save your current behavioral evaluation answers by clicking the "Update behavioral evaluation" button at the bottom of the screen.
Evaluation
Please enter your evaluation for each evaluation period. Click the "Evaluation" tab on the screen and register the evaluation content for performance goals and your own evaluation items on the screen that appears.
The following screen is an example of how tabs are displayed when multiple actions are set for one phase in a flow.
By clicking the "Save Temporarily" button, you can save your evaluation even if you have not filled in the required fields.
Once you have finished entering all your evaluations, click the "Update" button to save your evaluations.
If goal input is unlocked, you will be able to click the pencil icon in the top right and you will be able to go to the goal setting screen.
After entering all required information, click the "Confirm" button to confirm the information entered and proceed with the flow.
If the phase requires action by a manager, the approver selection screen will open, so please select the approver.
Once the approver selection has been completed, the message "Waiting for confirmation by manager" will be displayed, and you will no longer be able to perform any actions.
Your manager may reject an action that you have confirmed.
If this is the case, you will see a rejection comment like the one below.
Please refer to the rejected comments, correct each comment, etc., and click the "Confirm" button again.
On the progress confirmation screen, you can view a list of data such as the user's goal setting status and final evaluation.
You can also print the entire page by clicking the "Print" link at the top of the screen.
You can also update your skills from the goals screen.
In addition to the normal skill updates, if you have skills set as goals, an update screen will open that focuses only on those skills.
Budget/actual management
If the performance goals and budget/actual management functions are enabled, the budget/actual management screen will be displayed.
Please enter the results for the schedule you registered on the "Goal Setting" screen.
